- Fixed an issue where updates that are intentionally blocked by policy could still appear as available or show download errors in some scenarios.

- Fixed installer permission and post‑install execution issues that could prevent updates from completing in managed deployments.
- Fixed issues that could cause update downloads to fail intermittently or display inconsistent status (such as showing both an error and an up‑to‑date state).
Stability and diagnostics:
- Fixed cases where MAU could crash during update checks.
- Fixed issues where diagnostic log options in the MAU Help menu could fail to open, making troubleshooting more difficult for administrators.
User experience:
- Fixed cases where parts of the UI could appear in mixed light and dark modes.
- Improved update messaging so available updates and update status are presented more clearly to end users.

What I don't like about this AutoUpdater for Mac is that sometimes, I get download errors and thus can not install the updates. The help is so useless -- it says to delete some of the older updates but doesn't say HOW! or where to find the download cache on a macOS system. I know where the cache is on Windows ..but Mac ..come on.

I'm having the same problem with MAU 4.47. I'm running Big Sure on an M1 iMac and the app keeps launching spontaneously and appearing in the dock. All very annoying. I've tried deleting and reinstalling. About to just uninstall permanently.

WTH! v4.41 opens & checks twice a day. No way to stop it. I have to manually quit the app! Previous versions never did this.

Rubbish software from MS. Crashes frequently and/or hangs computer for between 1 and 2 minutes... appalling software with little practical value when it can't update itself without crashing
